Mississippi State University Projects
Through Affinity Consultant’s College Team I have been given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for Mississippi State University’s athletic’s program. From commemorative illustrations and promotional graphics to event branding and championship concepts, each project presented a unique design challenge while staying true to the university’s established brand. The collection below highlights a selection of that work.

Ron Polk Graphics
As part of Mississippi State’s partnership with Affinity Licensing, I was asked to create a series of graphics celebrating legendary baseball coach Ron Polk. The artwork was intended for apparel and promotional products, so I explored several different concepts featuring Coach Polk, cigars, baseball, and Mississippi State branding.
I expected the client to choose one or two directions before moving into revisions. Instead, they loved the entire collection and decided to move forward with every design. Aside from a few minor adjustments—such as adding the circular text around the first design, and the Bocock Brothers logo to another—the concepts were approved as presented. Hearing how excited they were about the artwork made this one of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on.
“What to Wear” Home Games Poster
I was asked by the College Team to design a “What to Wear” poster for the 2025 football season. I based the layout on the yard lines of a football field, using each row to organize the game date, opponent, and fan apparel theme. The result was a clean, easy-to-follow design.
2025 Championship Logo Concepts
Sometimes we’re asked to think ahead. For this project, I created a series of championship logo concepts that could be used immediately if Mississippi State won the national championship. Since there wouldn’t be time to start from scratch after the game, the designs had to be ready in advance.
I explored several different concepts, each with its own take on the typography, composition, and basketball imagery. Although the logos were never used, it was a fun creative exercise and a chance to develop multiple directions for the client to choose from.
These concepts were created prior to the tournament. These designs were prepared in advance and were not publicly released.
Marketing Concepts for Proposal Deck
As part of a proposal to win Mississippi State University as a client, I created a series of conceptual marketing pieces that demonstrated how our team could go beyond brand management and licensing support to become a creative partner. The presentation explored promotional packaging, merchandise, vehicle graphics, and other campaign ideas that showcased opportunities to elevate the university's marketing while remaining true to its established brand. The proposal was successful, and Mississippi State ultimately became a client.
